OP-portunities in STEM

This project focused on creating a jewelry piece that embodied STEM and its connection to a woman’s place in it. Typical components that are found in a circuit such as a resistor and a capacitor are found on the main body of the piece, connected to Op Amp look a-likes to create a conversation piece that can be worn to any event.

Greek Sneak

The shoe project focused on the creation of a product for a client of our choosing. This gave us experience in going through the process of concept to creation for a project that didn’t necessarily align with our aesthetic or personal taste. Greek Sneak was created to provide a traveling young woman with protection through the motif on the tongue of the sneaker and the evil eye seen on the sole.

Be Still My Beating Heart

The final project was to create an object that is molded to the body utilizing a 3D body scan of yourself or a model. My inspiration was Edgar Allen Poe’s A Tell-Tale Heart with the color scheme coming from that era as well.
